  I have more than 10 years working in the mental health field. I have worked with children and adolescents and adults who need a client-centred therapeutic approach mingled with creative mediums, at the client’s pace. With children, I use child-centred play therapy approaches, integrating other therapeutic techniques as needed. Through toys, pretend play, stories, art, sand play, sensory play and endless ways of creative approaches, where they can express their feelings using a familiar medium. As for adults, therapy might include sand play therapy, art therapy, and a wide range of diverse imaginative experiences agreed ahead. By using the client-centred therapeutic approach, the client is the one who chooses whether to use these mediums or not and how and when mediums can help them to process their thoughts and struggles. I am comfortable in conducting my sessions both in English and Arabic. I am also comfortable to conduct online sessions.

  I have over 25 years’ experience in working in a professional and therapeutic way with adults and children in various capacities in a variety of private, charitable and local authority settings (Family centres, support groups, primary schools, private and Social Services Nurseries and School Counselling Services).
