Job description and person specification: Octavia House Schools are seeking a play therapist to take on the role of therapy lead at their key stage 3 site. As well as offering full-time therapy sessions, the lead therapist will be an ambassador for the Octavia House Schools brand and a role model of outstanding practice. At their site, the lead therapist will be the leading therapeutic presence, organising and running staff training, leading on external referrals including to CAMHS, and being the direct contact in supporting families therapeutically. The lead therapist will be a flexible team-player, able to draw upon their knowledge, skills and experience of working with children who have significant and complex SEMH needs, often stemming from their ACEs.
