5. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To undertake assessment and play therapy with children [detail specific population if relevant];
To attend weekly clinical supervision [amend as appropriate];
To attend fortnightly team meetings [amend as appropriate];
Offer consultation to other team members and other professionals;
Develop evidence based practice;
To maintain clinical records according to current legislation;
Supervise colleagues and other professional at the request of the [line manager];
To participate in the development of clinical services and audit;
To participate in the development of research and training [if appropriate].

7. OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION
To provide consultation to other professionals within the work place and in other parts of the [name of service].
Develop working relationships with relevant agencies e.g Education, Social Care and Health, legal services.
The post-holder will attend regular clinical supervision as required by the British Association of Play Therapists.
8. ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The post-holder will undertake continuing professional development (CPD) activities, as defined by the British Association of Play Therapists.
As well as offering on-going play therapy to children, the post-holder will be expected to provide short-term play therapy when appropriate.

This post is one of continual development and the post-holder will be encouraged to develop skills and capabilities, including participation in projects and training events. Accordingly, the range of duties and responsibilities outlined above may change from time to time to reflect the changing needs of the organisation.
